Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of internOS. The short version: we aggregate internship listings from public career pages, we are not the employer, and nothing here promises you a job.
Last updated August 23, 2026
1.Who we are, and what this is
internOS is operated by internOS(“we”, “us”). It is a job-search tool for students and recent graduates. We collect internship, co-op, and new-grad listings from employers’ public career pages and applicant-tracking systems, score them against your resume, and help you track applications and find people to contact.
By using internOS you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2.We are not the employer
This is the most important clause in this document. Every listing on internOS belongs to the employer that posted it, not to us. We did not write it, we do not control it, and we have no relationship with the employer beyond reading their public careers page.
Which means, concretely:
- We cannot confirm a role is still open, that the description is accurate, that the pay range is real, or that the employer will ever respond to you.
- A listing may be closed, filled, or withdrawn before our next sync picks up the change. We label listings we detect as closed, but detection lags reality.
- We are not an employment agency, recruiter, or staffing service. We do not submit applications on your behalf, and we take no fee from employers for placing you.
- Nothing on internOS is an offer of employment, and using it creates no employment relationship with us or with any employer listed.
Listings are provided as is. Verify every detail with the employer before relying on it, and apply through the employer’s own link, which we always show.
3.Accounts, including the one you did not create
internOS gives every visitor an anonymous session automatically, so you can save roles before deciding whether to sign up. That session is tied to your browser. If you clear your browser storage or switch devices before creating a real account, that data is unrecoverable — we have no way to prove an anonymous session was yours.
Creating an account with an email address, or through Google, converts the anonymous session in place and keeps everything you saved. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@internos.app if you believe it has been compromised.
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, to use internOS.
4.Subscriptions and billing
The core board is free. Paid features are sold as internOS Pro at the prices shown on the pricing page, billed monthly or annually.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal and leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for.
- Except where the law gives you a refund right, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods and periods you did not use.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before the change hits your renewal. Continuing past that date accepts the new price.
5.AI output is a draft, not an answer
Match scores, cover letters, and resume suggestions are produced by a large language model. They are generated guesses. They can be wrong, can miss the point of a posting, and can state things about your experience that are not true.
Everything you send to an employer is your own statement, whatever helped you draft it. Read and correct AI output before you use it. We are not responsible for the consequences of sending it unreviewed, and a match score is our opinion about fit, not a prediction that you will be interviewed or hired.
6.Acceptable use
Do not:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export the listing database, or use it to build a competing aggregator. The individual listings are public; the assembled, deduplicated, classified collection is the product.
- Use the people-search features to harass anyone, to send bulk unsolicited mail, or for any purpose other than contacting someone about a role you are genuinely pursuing.
- Share an account, resell access, or circumvent the paid feature gates.
- Probe or overload the service, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anyone’s resume but your own.
7.Your content, and ours
Your resume, profile, notes, and application history stay yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you: to store that content, and to send the relevant parts to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy so that features like match scoring can work. We do not sell it and we do not train models on it.
The site, its code, and the assembled listing database are ours or our licensors’. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the service as intended.
8.Ending it
You can stop using internOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period not yet used.
9.Disclaimers and limits
internOS is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that listings will be complete or current, or that it will get you a job.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities — including a role you did not see, saw late, or saw described wrongly. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this clause may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10.Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use internOS after that accepts the revision.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction — except where your local consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live.
