More than five decades after humans last walked on the Moon, NASA is preparing to return astronauts to the lunar surface through the Artemis program. Leidos is supporting that mission by designing, producing, integrating, and testing critical human spaceflight hardware, including the Laser Air Monitoring System (LAMS) used to monitor spacecraft cabin air. LAMS is a flight air-monitoring system designed to continuously measure key constituents of the crewed spacecraft atmosphere, including oxygen (O₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and water vapor (H₂O).
