Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart and vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the cardiovascular system. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions • Knowledgable of and selects appropriate ultrasound equipment for echocardiogram procedures. • Monitors sound waves for quality of ultrasonic patterns and documents on appropriate media to obtain a permanent record of examiniation. • Consults with physicians as required regarding collection of test data and critical test results. • Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
