As a Survey intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following: • Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station. • Mark points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark. • Travel with survey crew to different civil engineering project sites around town. • Place stakes at designated points and drive them into ground at specified elevation. • Enrolled in a two-year civil survey technician program, Civil Engineering program or related field. • Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred. • Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions. • Above average math and communication skills. …
