The 2L and 3L Student Practitioner (SJC Rule 3:03) Academic Year Internship is designed for law students who are seeking to gain on-their-feet experience practicing in state criminal court. Students will practice in the District Court under SJC Rule 3:03, maintaining their own caseload of approximately 20-30 cases and litigating every stage of a criminal case in the trial court, including arraignments, bail hearings, pre-trial proceedings, motion practice and trials.
